Remember when we were kids?

Remember standing in the middle of a room with your arms out spinning around in circles until you fell down? or barfed? or both? Ahhh, childhood was Good Times, wasn’t it.

What does this have to do with anything, you may ask? Not a damn thing, really. But finishing three skeins of yarn this morning kind of gave me the same feeling. But I’m well on my way to having what I need to do some serious holiday knitting, so it’s all good.

First up, we have:

The Green Skein. This is the finished product from that partial bobbin full of green stuff a few entries back. it’s mighty thin (there’s 275 yards there), but I think it will be perfect for my intended purposes.

Then… We have:

The red stuff. Which didn’t photograph particularly well, but it’s pretty anyway. Two out of three skeins of that are drying in the bathroom at the moment (about 225 yards total), the third is still on the bobbin, but I need to spin some more before that skein will be finished. That’s going to become the Leaf Cravat from a back issue of Interweave Knits, and a matching pair of mittens for my friend Barb, who was the one who bought me that fiber (and the green stuff above, truth be told).

I should be able to start knitting both of those projects tomorrow. As always, I’ll keep all y’all posted on the progress, or lack thereof…
