The best four bucks I’ve ever spent at Value Village

And yeah, that’s for me. My size, not for the kidlet. Mine! Mine I tell you! Mine! All mine!

It’s that particular level of obnoxious that has had my coworkers bursting out laughing in the middle of sentences all day. I heart my new sweater.

Also! I scored The Perfect Black Cashmere Cardigan, also $4. I do love me some Value Village.

  2. Did they go ‘nuts’ over it? ar, ar!

I love value village too, although the selection is better outside of Olympia as far as I can tell. The thrift store vogue is too popular here in the land of Greeners* so things are pretty picked over most of the time.

(*for those unfamiliar with Olympia, it’s a college town - home of the The Evergreen State College. Students there are affectionately [or not] known as ‘Greeners’. They tend to have a uniquely identifiable general appearance. One hesitates to call it a fashion sense.)

  3. Oh gosh, that sweater is awesome! Thrift stores are so much fun, you never know what crazy stuff you’ll find there.

  4. Do we get to see you in it, so we, too, may burst out laughing and spray coffee (or tea) all over our keyboards??? ;) Pretty please? :)

  5. I picked up a genyoooine Dale of Norway cardigan for $7.99 at Goodwill. There was a snag, otherwise it was hardly worn. I guess somebody’s grandma went home to visit Norway and brought it back to some ungrateful child who wore it once then got rid of it. My gain. I’m lovin’ your squirelly goodness.
